In order to practice the sustainable development path of itself and its supply chain, GEM advocates the establishment of long-term and stable honest cooperative relationships with suppliers, encourages suppliers to fulfill their social responsibilities, and jointly promotes the construction of responsible supply chains. With reference to the OECD Guidelines, China Guidelines and Business and Human Rights, GEM has formulated GEM's "Supplier Standards for Responsible Procurement", "GEM Supplier Code of Conduct", and "GEM's Responsible Management Policy for Responsible Global Supply Chains", which outlines the labor and human rights, health and safety, environment, ethics and other requirements, and apply these terms to the evaluation and admission of GEM suppliers. GEM will actively monitor supplier compliance and any breach of standards may harm the relationship or even lead to the termination of the business relationship.
GEM is a member of RCI (Responsible Critical Minerals Initiative) and RMI (Responsible Minerals Initiative). GEM's joining RMI and RCI is a positive move. GEM is committed to strengthening cooperation with governments, enterprises, industry associations and non-governmental organisations to promote the development of the global mineral resources industry and environmental protection. As a responsible mining company, GEM actively responds to the call for sustainable development and environmental protection. By participating in organisations such as RMI and RCI, it strengthens cooperation with the international community and jointly promotes the sustainable development of the mineral resources industry.
