He hopes that all Indonesian employees can work and live happily in QMB, achieving brilliance in their lives. Chairman Xu Kaihua emphasized that QMB is committed to promoting the integrated development of industry, technology, and culture between Indonesia and China. He cited the case of Indonesian student Rizky Wanaldi, who graduated from the first batch of the Indonesian Government-GEM-CSU Joint Engineering Master's International Training Class in Material Science and Metallurgical Technology and was promoted to Assistant General Manager of QMB within two years, as an example of GEM's firm commitment to providing Indonesian employees with ample opportunities for career growth. He also expressed the determination to build QMB into a leading global production base for new energy nickel materials, contributing to Indonesia's new energy industry and the global development of new energy.

Chairman Xu Kaihua pledged to continue improving the working and living environment for Indonesian employees and shared the good news that the "high-quality dormitory for a thousand Indonesian employees and the Muslim cafeteria specially built for them will be put into use in early May." His speech resonated deeply with Indonesian employees, eliciting rounds of applause and cheers, releasing a surge of energy for cultural integration. Finally, Chairman Xu Kaihua and Indonesian employees broke their fast together, sharing the blessings and fortunes of the Ramadan period.

Indonesia is a predominantly Muslim country, and the fasting month of Ramadan followed by the Eid al-Fitr festival is the most important traditional religious practice and holiday in Indonesia, holding great significance for the Indonesian people, similar to the Chinese New Year in China. In 2024, Ramadan in Indonesia lasted from mid-March to mid-April. During Ramadan, the tradition of holding Eid al-Fitr feasts has become a customary practice in Indonesia.

To express respect for the local traditional culture and religious beliefs of Indonesia, and to promote cultural integration, QMB has precisely planned a series of Eid al-Fitr celebration activities since March 30th. The QMB management team gathered with nearly 2000 Muslim employees to celebrate the festival together and express sincere concern and gratitude to them. During the Ramadan period, Mr. Djoko Suprapto, the religious affairs officer of IMIP, and representatives of the Muslim community in the IMIP were invited to QMB to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with QMB's Muslim employees. Mr. Djoko Suprapto first expressed his gratitude for QMB's Eid al-Fitr feast event and prayed for good fortune and blessings for all Muslim employees. He personally witnessed QMB's magnificent journey from groundbreaking to becoming a high-tech industrial park and highly praised QMB's significant progress and outstanding achievements. He wished the company continued success in the future and hoped it would continuously bring vitality and development opportunities into the IMIP.

As a highlight project of the China-Indonesia "Belt and Road" cooperation, QMB has always adhered to and actively practiced the concept of "promote cultural integration and grow together with Indonesia." QMB fully respects the beliefs and customs of Muslim countries, actively implements the training program for a thousand Indonesian youth elites and craftsmen, and organizes various cultural exchange activities to promote the deep integration and development of Indonesian and Chinese cultures and to contribute to the prosperity and progress of the Indonesian economy.
