On 19^th June 2014, during 2014 China Resources Recycling Industry Annual Conference, the Launching Ceremony of China Resources Recycling Technology Innovation Alliance was Held in Jingmen GEMCo., LTD. This alliance was jointly sponsored by China  Resources Recycling Association, Beijing University of Technology, Shenzhen GEM High-tech Co., Ltd., Qingdao Xintiandi Materials Recycling Co., Ltd., Shandong Jinsheng Nonferrous Metal Group Co., Ltd., Hunan Wanrong Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Huahong Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Lidi Machinery Co., Ltd., Guangdong Mingjie Group, Guangzhou Wanlvda Group Co., Ltd., Hunan Zhaohui Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Jinyang Metallurgical Co., Ltd. Academician Zuo Tieyong, a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of the Academic Committee of Beijing University of Technology, who was also member of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, vice director of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Education Committee, vice director of the Ministry of Education of Science and Technology Committee was pointed as the director of the alliance.

The alliance members of experts from 863 program new material technology projects,  vice group leader of the study group of overall energy saving and emission reduction industry and Nie Zuoren vice president of Beijing University of Industry who was also recognized as “Long River Scholars” by the Ministry of Education announced the officially form of the alliance. Jiang Sansheng, president of China Resource Recycling Association, Huang Jianzhong, vice director of the Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Liang Zhijun, director of Circulation Industry Development of the Ministry of Commerce, Prof. Chen Ying from  Solid Waste Management Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Hu Gongmin, vice governor of Jingmen City, Gong Yu, vice secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing University of Technology, Prof. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM company, Guan Aiguo, the president of China Resource Recycling Development Co., Ltd. and other representatives went on the stage and started the innovation alliance.

The aim of the alliance is to give full play of the driving effect of the advantages of leading enterprises and research units, to establish a information exchange platform among the industry, university and research, to overcome the difficulties in processing technology, environment protection and economic benefit by using the cutting edge technologies, and setup a benchmark for recycling industry.
