On the morning of 18thJuly 2014, Kong Lingyu, deputy director of Market System Development Department of the National Ministry of Commerce, Chen Suhong, director of Regional Coordination Department and other relevant leaders from Economic Development Department of National Ministry of Finance who were accompanied by Hu Daoyin, deputy director of Business Bureau of Hubei Province and other relevant leaders from Business Bureau of Wuhan City and Xinzhou district, visited GEM (Wuhan) Urban Mining Recycling Industrial Park for researching. Prof. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group warmly welcomed deputy director Kong Lingyu and other leaders and showed the construction site of end-of-life (ELV) recycling project, e-waste dismantling workshop and wood plastic composite (WPC) production workshop, and made a discussion on ELV recycling and comprehensive re-utilization.

Deputy Director Kong Lingyu made a field trip to the project construction site of Wuhan ELV Recycling Industrial Park and listened to the report of the project construction schedule which made by President Xu Kaihua. President Xu Kaihua said in the future the company would take Wuhan City as the development center, form a nationwide, advanced ELV comprehensive utilization industrial chain and complete the circular economy industry layout. In the e-waste dismantling workshop and WPC production workshop, President Xu Kaihua introduced the complete recycling industry chain of electronic waste, showed the development pattern mode of scientific, harmless and reutilization. President Xu illustrated a green industry which realized turning waste into wealth.

During the meeting, President Xu Kaihua made a report on comprehensive utilization of ELV and showed sincere thanks to the appreciation and support of GEM’s circular economy industry from the Commercial Bureau. Deputy Director Kong Lingyu said he would try his best to support the development of those advanced enterprises which were represented by GEM, constantly improved the level of resources recycling and the circular economy industry development. The leaders highly recognized the GEM’s technology, environmental protection standards in the field of circular economy and said they would establish related processes to solve qualification problems and barriers during development, to strengthen the policy support to the environmental protection service enterprises.
