At 9.45 am 12^th July 2014, the construction commencement ceremony of GEM (Tianjin) Urban Mining Recycling Industry Development Project was held. GEM (Tianjin) Urban Mining Recycling Industry Development Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Tianjin GEM”) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of GEM Group which was registered on 18^th October 2013 with a registered capital of 300 million yuan. The company is located in national leveled environmental protection industry zone - Ziya Circular Economy Development Area. GEM has invested 1 billion RMB to build a technology leading, environmental protecting, world facing National Urban Mining Recycling Park, to promote the development of the Bohai economic agglomeration.

The starting commencement ceremony was held hosted simple and grande. Leaders from Tianjin Ziya Circular Economy Industry Area, Long Xianlin of Chief of Tianjin GEM Promotion Office and contractors’ representatives attended this ceremony. Chief Long Xianlin made a speech at the commencement ceremony. The representatives of the contractors promised to overcome any difficulties and provide support to the construction of Tianjin GEM, to create Tianjin GEM speed.

Finally, at 9.58, Cheif Long Xianlin announced that the construction of GEM Tianjin Urban Mining Recycling Industry Development project was officially started.Firecrackers exploded, two large-scale construction machines began to work at the same time which marked the official starting of GEM construction.
