On 24th January, 2015, under the theme of “Practicing in the environmental protection industry, to build a beautiful China”, the "ZEG·GEM" environmental protection industry forum and the launch of the acquisition fund was held at the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen. The forum was organized by the Shenzhen GEM High-Tech Co.,Ltd and assisted by Zhongzhi Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. More than 200 guests, including Professor Chen Yong, from Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Chen Hongqiao, the President of Guoxin Securities Co., Ltd., Mr. Chen Xiaosheng, the Chief Strategy Officer of SW Securities Co., Ltd., Mr. Yuan Yuping, chairman’s assistant of Societe Generale Securities, Mr. Wangwei, the CEO of Zhongzhi Enterprise Group, Mr. Zhang Yang, the president of Zhongzhi Industrial Investment Company who is also a share holder of GEM, Professor Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM and other experts from environmental protection industry and senior investment institutions as well as journalists from medias.

Before the meeting, the guests visited to the exhibition of the information and sample of GEM recycling industrial parks across the country.  They also learned about GEM’s complete waste resource recycling industry chain through remote monitoring system.

The host Mr. Chen Weihong first introduced the honored guests at the meeting. Professor Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM High-Tech Co., Ltd, and Mr Wangwei, the CEO of Zhongzhi Enterprise Group delivered warm welcome speeches respectively. Professor Chen Yong from Chinese Academy of Engineering made a keynote speech of "Taking urban mining to as the engine of industrial development and environmental protection" and many practical suggestions were made. We could feel Mr, Chen Yong has a deep sense of responsibility and mission to environmental protection science and technology. Mr. Chen Hongqiao, the president of Guoxin Securities Co., Ltd. Had an unique insight on “the business model and acquisition operations of listed environmental protection companies”. How to promote environmental protection industry through mergers and acquisitions? Mr. Chen Hongqiao proposed mergers and acquisitions to become a strong impetus to the development of environmental protection industry. Mr. Chen Xiaosheng, the Chief Strategy Officer and institute manager of SW Securities Co., Ltd, published the "Heroic Era under New Normal" keynote speech. He said that 2015 is a heroic era, enterprise heroes, financial heroes and reform heroes will emerge. Environmental protection will become the fast growth industry in the future China. Professor Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group, published the keynote speech of “Exploiting the urban mine to build a beautiful China – GEM’s innovation and industrial practice of urban mining to make us more convinced that China"s environmental protection industry has unlimited business opportunities and the dream of beautiful China will be realized definitely.

Then, the delegates, including Professor Chen Yong, the Chinese academy of engineering, Mr. Chen Xiaosheng, the Chief Strategy Officer of SW Securities Co., Ltd., Prof. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM, Mr. Zhang Yang, the president of Zhongzhi Industrial Investment Company and Mr. Sun Wenjun, the founder of Love Recycling, discussed the topic of “Practicing in the environmental protection industry, to build a beautiful China” and explored the ways of the development of circular economy and capital consolidation. They recommended that we must use the green financial capital to make sure the healthy development of the environmental protection industry, to impulse the consolidation of financial capital and the environmental protection industry, to promote the healthy development of the green economy in China.

After the forum, the “ZEG & GEM green environmental protection industry mergers and acquisitions fund launching ceremony” was held. The delegates witnessed Zhongzhi investment and GEM Group went into a new stage for greater prosperity of environmental protection industry and made a contribution to construct a  beautiful China .
