On the morning of 25th November 2014, Wang Guosheng, the Governor of Hubei Province who was accompanied by Wan Yong, the party secretary of Jingmeng City and Xiao Juhua, the mayor of Jingmeng City, visited Jingmen GEM Recycling Industrial Park. They received a warm welcome from Prof. Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group.

Governor Wang inspected the eastern part project construction site of Jingmen GEM first. Prof. Xu Kaihua made a detailed description of the project construction a nd the growth of GEM during the last three years. In GEM’s circular economy educational museum, Governor Wang highly praised the creative design of "Turning Waste into Treasure".  At the National WEEE Recycling Engineering Technology Research Center, Governor Wang asked researchers about their work a n d life in Jingmen a nd encouraged them to make persistent efforts for the construction of recycling industry in Hubei. Later on, President Xu made an especially report on GEM’s ELV recycling industry development to Governor Wang. GEM’s investment in the construction of world"s advanced ELV processing center in Wuhan will realized green treatment and recycling of scraped cars.

As early as three years ago, 5th January 2011, when Governor Wang was the vice governor of Hubei Province, inspected Jingmen GEM industrial base. He recognized GEM’s achievements in turning waste into treasure and waste reutilization. He expressed the provincial government would support GEM to become a bigger and stronger recycling enterprise.
