On the morning of 15th July 2015, Mr. Craigc W. Boljkovac, a former Senior Programme Officer of UN, who is a Senior Lecture of Environmental Science College of Tsinghua University, Prof. Li Jinhui, the Executive Director of BCRC-China, who is also a Professor of f Environmental Science College of Tsinghua University,  visited GEM. Lu Xijin, vice general manager of GEM Group warmly received our two distinguished guests.

Accompanied by Vice General Manager Lu, Prof. Boljkovac and Prof. Li visited the GEM’s Urban Mining Museum, Intelligent Information Monitoring Platform, E-waste Dismantling Workshop, Scrapped PCB Pyrolysis Workshop, Battery Exhibition Hall, Ternary Battery Production Workshop, etc. The rain poured down from the sky on the day, but it did not affect the enthusiasm of the guests. The detailed explanation of Vice General Manager Lu made Prof. Boljkovac had a deeper understanding about GEM’s green disposal process and recycling technology. While listened to the explanation of Lu Xijin, Prof. Boljkovac paid a high praise to the recycling industry chains of GEM.

After the visit, Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM Group held meeting with Professor Boljkovac and Prof. Li introduced the history and development direction of GEM in the future. Both parties exchanged their ideas of cooperation on the international environmental strategy. Finally, President Xu invited our guest to take photos together.
