On June 21st, 2016, Ms. Zhang Huili, the vice mayor of Shiyan came to visit GEM (Wuhan) Circular Industrial Park, president Xu Kaihua warmly received her and her group. Accompanied by key leaders of GEM (Wuhan) Circular Industrial Park, vice mayor Zhang Huili visited Wuhan GHM Auto Parts Remanufacturing Co., Ltd., GEM (Wuhan) “Urban Mining” Museum, the intelligent information monitoring platform, ELV green dismantling workshop and WEEE green treatment workshop.

After the visit, professor Xu Kaihua, the president of GEM held a discussion with vice mayor Zhang Huili. Ms. Zhang Huili said, with entrusting by party secretary and mayor of Shiyan, this visit has two purpose: one was to thank president Xu Kaihua for the earlier attention and investigation on Shiyan, another one was to come to GEM for study. The delegation was deeply impressed by the rapid development of GEM, recycling concept of GEM serves as a powerful inspiration. Municipal party committee and municipal government of Shiyan earnestly hoped that GEM can invest, layout and integrate resources in Shiyan region. President Xu Kaihua said, as the core water source of the middle-route of South-to-North Water Transfers Project in China, Shiyan has good ecological basis, and has certain radiation ability to the northwest of Hubei and Shaanxi, both side can make in-depth research and discussion.
